WWOOF INDIA has already purchased the land needed for setting up WWOOF GLOBAL VILLAGE and fencing around the land and two double bed rooms, dormitory for ten people, Toilets , Bath , Kitchen and dining area  are ready . Now work is in progress for planting 250 different types of fruit trees of. We have to start work for the nursery for vegetables for which we have to construct shaded beds. We have plans for setting up a co-operative with organic farmers from our area for exchanging knowledge, organic seeds and plan to sell and transport produce together  creating a model of an integrated sustainable farming community. We aim to structure and develop our work so that it is accessible to a wider group of local people. The long term goal is to become a recognized research center in sustainability practices by providing workshops in alternative agricultural practices, food processing and preparation, alternative energy, eco-building, community exploration, and personal development, as well as documenting our work in natural farming and permaculture by involving  WWOOFers coming to India.
